It's quite rare for me to pay attention to my deviant account for the sole purpose of looking at artwork, but today was a relatively relaxing day so I decided to check out what was happening. Hopping from artist to artist via a favorites trail, I chanced upon a few artists (mostly painters) and liked their concepts, I'm waiting for a reply from them so I can attempt to recreate some of their scenes or concepts.

Photography, minus major digital photo-manipulation, would be a challenging medium for recreating some paintings, but I know some of these shots would look interesting as photographs. (no compositing, major cropping, cutting and pasting, blurring, brushing, coloring, etc.)
